Registration to work in Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta

Who needs to register?

You only need to register if you have been informed that you are being progressed for a role in the school. Depending on what role you are being progressed for you will need to register as a Teacher or Non-Teacher.

Please note that this is not a job application so if you have not already applied for a role with us you will first need to apply online to be considered for a role with us. You can view our current vacancies and apply online here.

How long does the registration take?

If you are progressing for a role, you will need to complete the registration for Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff and it takes approximately 20-30 minutes. You can save and return to an existing application before submitting it.

What happens once I have submitted my details online?

We will be informed by the school that you are being considered for an opportunity with us so we will review your details as part of the recruitment process and we will inform you once your details have been cleared.

We are unable to review any applications for anyone that is not progressing through a recruitment process, so we encourage you to visit our careers page to keep up to date with our current opportunities.

Registration for Teachers

Use this registration form if you are progressing for any of the following positions:

  • Teacher
  • Principal
  • Assistant Principal
  • Religious Education Coordinator

Why do I need to register?

The registration is used to appropriately place teachers on a pay scale according to their verified qualifications and experience. It is also use to facilitate processes in case of employment, allowing you to transition

What do I need to register?

In order to register you need:

  • A Working with Children Clearance Check Number
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • A current email address

You will also be required to upload certified copies of the following documents:

  • Proof of identity
  • Proof of working rights
  • Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates from relevant Universities
  • Transcripts indicating courses completed/awarded
  • Record of Employment if applicable (to be provided on relevant Educational Authority or other employer letter head)
  • Marriage Certificate (if surname on above documents is in the maiden name)

In addition Overseas-trained Teachers must provide certified copies of:

  • Their international passport under which a permit to work in Australia was issued
  • Demonstrated English language skills (IELTS results of at least 8+ or PEAT results of A+) if they did not complete their secondary education in English.

Registration for Non-Teachers

Use this registration form if you are being progressed for any of the following positions within schools:

  • Support Staff
  • Teachers' Aide
  • Administrative positions
  • Clerical and Financial positions
  • Business managers
  • Maintenance and Outdoor staff
  • Cleaner

The registration is used to facilitate the recruitment process.

What do I need to register?

In order to register you need a current email address. In addition you will need to upload certified copies of the following documents:

  • A Working with Children Clearance Check Number
  • Marriage Certificate (if surname on above documents is in the maiden name)
  • Proof of working rights

Some roles are also required to provide a Working with Children Clearance Check Number (or application number).

Non-residents will also need to provide a certified copy of their international passport under which a permit to work in Australia was issued.
